Over several days at Trent University (Peterborough campus), we captured dynamic commercial photography highlighting real students in authentic campus environments. The project focused on updating imagery for their Alumni House, showcasing life as a Trent alumnus while maintaining a natural, editorial style.
Students were photographed in everyday settings— studying in the library, socializing at the student centre, walking along the river, and enjoying campus amenities. Our goal was to create approachable, lifestyle forward visuals that reflect the vibrant and supportive community Trent offers its alumni. Each image was designed to resonate across digital platforms, marketing materials, and social media, helping Alumni House visually communicate its value and engagement opportunities for upcoming and current alum.
The shoot balanced candid moments with intentional composition, combining natural and strobe light, and the real energy of campus life with real students. By photographing in authentic settings with students actively interacting with their environment, we produced imagery that feels both genuine and aspirational, aligning with Trent’s emphasis on connection, opportunity, and lifelong learning.
